The palate offers commendable weight and extraction: not a Batailley of finesse or even complexity

with ripe orchard fruit

dark cherry and liquorice

and generally tend to be a little richer and more complex than regular Bordeaux

both spicy and perfumed on the nose and opulent on the palate
