Located in the heart of the Mdoc, in Pauillac, he renamed the property Chteau Mouton Rothschild. In 1924, Baron Philippe de Rothschild took over the reins of the estate. A visionary, he decided to start bottling the wine directly on the estate, while at the same time designing the label. 1973
