Cup & Saucer with Unusual Classical Scene | Staffordshire with Pink LustreEarly 19th century cup & saucer with a rare & unusual classical scene crawling with critters & dramatic, draped figures. I especially love the little sphinx being pet like a cat & the snakes popping up out of their containers. White Staffordshire pearlware with black transfer & pink lustre glaze. Excellent condition, without chips, cracks, or tea staining.
