Rare Antique Fukagawa Seiji Micro Tea Set • Early 1900s Signed Japanese Arita Porcelain Iris & Gold Miniature Teapot • Cabinet PieceAn exceptionally rare and pristine antique Japanese miniature three piece porcelain tea set crafted by the legendary Fukagawa Seiji company during the late Meiji to early Taisho period (circa 18941915). This exquisite cabinet set includes a micro cylindrical teapot with a matching lid, a miniature teacup, and its original coordinating saucer. Unlike common mid century export wares, this early piece features no Western "Nippon" or "Japan"

To the rear it has a good sterling stamp and a good c clasp

He has a funny hair style of three spikes

This is a gorgeous antique in beautiful condition and would make an amazing gift

This is a lovely picture of a partially dressed lady with her back to the camera and her leg on a chair and her hand apparently down her pantaloons

It has a nice bail to the bottom for chatelaine and could of course be used as a pendant

The interior is partially completed with some lovely ink script entries including a 1901 dedication to the front

The lid unscrews nicely and has a little glass dropper to access the perfume
