Lachish Chai
Description
Lachish ChaiMarch 2026 Sterling silver While it might not look like it, this pendant reads (chai, or "life") in Hebrew. This is a cursive form of Paleo Hebrew found on administrative inscriptions in the ancient city of Tel Lachish that date back to the late sixth and early seventh centuries BCE, right before the city fell to the Babylonians. This pendant is gently domed to catch the light from different angles and is approximately 25mm in diameter.
the lighter sections are silver and the darker striations are an alloy of white gold and palladium

I love the way the fully-articulated stone-set joints of these chandelier earrings radiate out from the earlobe studs like meteor showes
we continued to use as our theme a Chinese saying that we'd used to guide the design of the engagement ring: 桃花流水 (táohuāliúshuǐ)
This ring came about while attempting to make a different ring
I took scraps of 14k and 18k gold and balled them up with a torch

and the ribbon shape encompassing the piece echoes the ribbon that ran through her bouquet
particularly noting she'd been enamoured of the naturally silver-colored pearls we saw
