Holocaust #9
Description
Holocaust #9From the Artist As an artist engaged with painfully difficult topics, my journey began in childhood with the daily reality of The Holocaust in my immigrant community. Art gave me a positive way to give form and expression to the rage, grief and horror within and around me. This portfolio of ten prints, created at Brandywine, constitute but a small part of my thirteen years of work on The Holocaust. Working at Brandywine, especially with Allan Edmunds,
the possible consequences and potential rewards of navigating unfamiliar territory
which are in various positions associated with moving
spine-tipped surface slowly takes over to transform the structure and metaphorical release of its inner spirit
but he's going one way and it's gone the other way at the same time
The two hours that followed were the most traumatic of my life
This feeling pushes me to create
He likes the tension that develops between the line and the shapes the line makes
especially realists
Tanaka insists
He consistently recycles discarded remnants of mass culture in his collagraphs
In my previous years I’ve developed work that changes its forms and condition turning time into its medium
curated by several of his professional colleagues and friends
