Blacksmith Forge Baffle PlateThe baffle plate for the Blacksmith Forge stove is a heavy duty cast iron component that prevents combustion gases from escaping directly up the flue. By slowing the gas exit it forces a longer heat path through the firebox, improving fuel efficiency and protecting the stove body from the worst of the radiant heat. A warped or cracked baffle needs replacing before it causes secondary damage to the flue collar or door seals. Compatible with: Blacksmith
