Description

Rannoch Signal BoxRannoch Station lies on the glorious Scottish West Highland Line. Considered one of Britains 100 Best Railway Stations in Simon Jenkins book of that name[1] the Station was opened to passengers in 1894. The station was built by James Renton, a Director of the west Highland Line who had to pay the navies from his own fortune as the line proved expensive to build as it kept sinking into the Rannoch Moor bog eventually supported by a brushwood raft.

The tenancy on crofts is based on “statutory conditions” (seldom a written lease)

The base size of this OO model when assembled  is approx  309 x 107 mm (to help with design of railway layouts)  (3 x A4 sheets of 3mm ply + windows in 0
