The Coolant Expansion Tank is becoming a well known weak point of these cars with age the plastic weakens, eventually leading to failure. Compatible with both Mk1 and Mk2 vehicles please note this Coolant Tank does not have the facility for a Coolant Level Sensor to be fitted. They can still be used with Mk2 cars fitted with a Level Sensor, however this functionality will not work and your coolant level will need to be monitored manually.
